Not all that great. Cheryl Ford (the Mailman's daughter) is out injured.
That's bad news.
They are a team with little if any playoff experience. They remind me a lot
of the Los Angeles Sparks back in 1999 when they were in the playoffs for
the first time. The Sparks lost to the Comets in 1999 and then lost to them
again in 2000 before they won it all in 2001.
Incidently, losing to the Comets two times in a row in the playoffs is what
lead Toler and Cooper to bring in Byears and Mapp.

The Shock beat the Sparks in OT and lost to Houston (and Sacramento) in the
only games they played against them.
The Shock is also 0-4 against the Charlotte Sting. Those are teams with
years and years of playing experience.
No Shock player has more than 4 years playing experience in the WNBA. 3
rookies, 3 players with ONE year and and 2 players with TWO years.

High draft picks that they have used to get extremely talented players.
This should be a good team for years to come.

Luck has nothing to do with it.
