On the surface, I don't like this trade.

I'm not sure what's to like or not like. It's a trade of end-of-the-bench
fodder. This is going to have very little impact on the Kings.

Not to say that I didn't like Skinner - I just get the impression Adelman
was never going to give the guy the PT he probably deserved.

I think you are correct. But the Kings traded away their backup center.
Now they only have Miller. Bad idea. I looked at the specs on these new
guys and they certainly are bench fodder. Maybe they got them so when
Adelman keeps them on the bench they won't complain. They'll be used to it
already.

Skinner did bring defense. I guess Kings didn't need that ;)

Not that now they have Artest. In the Kings' system, they play a high
post offense, where the center's role is to pass the ball, set picks
and shoot the 15 footer. Skinner is not good at any of that. The
Kings now have Artest and Wells to play defense and get rebounds. They
don't need Skinner.

That system sucks. It's why they're in last place. I can't wait till
Adelman is gone and his system too.
