Minnesota More Involved In Trade Talks Than Reported?
13th December, 2006 - 12:55 pm
Newsday -
Minnesota has been more involved in the Allen Iverson than widely
reported, according to a source who characterized Timberwolves owner
Glen Taylor's statements to the contrary as "a smokescreen."

"If Kevin Garnett goes in to Taylor and says, "I want this to happen,'
then this is going to happen," the person said.

Maybe he's going to trade Garnett for the entire Utah team.
Probably have to throw in some cash.
I doubt any of the current Wolves would still be starters.

Strike "If this is true" and you're dead on.

From this morning's Strib - the Wolves offering James, Davis, Hassell and
Jaric. I find it hard to believe the Sixers would do the deal without Foye
involved. Also dealing all three of the SG/SF that play big minutes would
leave the team very thin at that position.

We don't have a chance of making a trade for AI without Foye going to
the Sixers. If this is true, Mchale is an idiot.

McHale has dug such a hole for the team that even KG couldn't dig them
out. Same goes for the Owner Taylor.
