Stackhouse and Butler are very intelligent men. The Wizards have several
NBA coaches. None of them are on the coaching staff.

Butler made a couple very smart plays I'd never seen before. For example,
With 7 seconds on the clock he inbounded the ball so Bibby would kick it.
We now inbound the ball with 14 on the clock. That's like an extra
possession. That was typical of his play all game.

Stackhouse did the nicest job I've ever seen of a player conserving
himself. For his first 20 minutes on the floor, he couldn't beat
Stojakovic off the dribble. *I* can beat Stojakovic off the dribble once
or twice. Sad, Stack has lost a step. WRONG. For the last 10 minutes, as
advertised, Stack was everywhere at once like Juan Dixon. Awesome.

Kwame got the big numbers. 30 and 19. Stay busy, youngin.

ESPN cut on Arenas Tuesday for not being a point guard, and in fact being
why the Wizards are "desparate" for a point guard, so Jordan didn't play
Steve Blake at all. Relax, Steve. Talent will out. Not under Pollin, but
no matter. Arenas had 10 assists. For as long as he had the ball he
should have had 16. Brendan can relax also. Somebody somewhere knows you'd
have Kwame's numbers with Kwame's minutes. If you don't foul out.

Grunfeld and Jordan have Pollin's vote of confidence. Pollin has mine.

Now I know you're being sarcastic there. But while I share your opinions
on Laettner and the coach (I like him less and less every game), I gotta
disagree with you on Arenas and Stack and Haywood. Stack is Jarvis minus
the defense and rebounds and with the 'tude and turnovers.

And you like to say if you were playing with certain guys, you'd do this
or that. Well if I was playing with Haywood I'd never pass him the ball.
He doesn't look for passes and then when he does manage to hang onto it,
he puts the damn ball on the floor and rarely gets a score.
