So what if it ended with a goaltending non-call?

Have another donut, Homer. I've seen Channel 45 replay that thing to
death. It was goaltending -- pure and simple. But, I DON'T CARE!
Whooopth! I'm celebrating with a Pig's Eye beer!

I watched it, and it was definately close, but I still think it was one
of the few calls
the refs got right all night. If it was a make up call, hurrah for the
refs.

No one's disputing this.

Yes, it was -- ever so slightly.

I have. Many times. Goaltending. But, I'm glad that the Wolves
finally got a break/gift this season -- 'bout time.

I'm with Junior. I believe that the ball began falling
before KG got to it. But I also agree with Punkinaro
that the Wolves could have used a makeup call or two.

Take it and get going - don't be doing no crowing.

Nope. Look at it again.

Let me guess... You also thought that Roethlisberger actually DID
score a rushing TD and that Jackson DID commit offensive pass
interference to negate a Seahawk TD last Sunday.

Whatever -- the game is played by humans and officiated by them, as
well. Hopefully, in the grand scheme of things, it all evens out in
the end.

You're both wrong. It wasn't "clear" or "pure" in either direction. As
far as I'm concerned, it was so close to the apex that the call is
defendable either way. It's one of those occasions where the refs could
have gone either way and I would have been okay with it.

But I'm damn glad they went the way they did.

*BUMP*

It must be that the Wolves play well against teams that wear Kelly
green uniforms. Now, if they could only schedule Seattle and Boston at
home for all 82 games of the season...

*BUMP*

Excellent game from the Minnesota Celtics! Bravo! Ricky Davis took
over the team leadership role once KG was ejected and played his ass
off.

I was at the game, so <grin> blame me...

I agree, Ricky took up the slack. I found myself thinking
that this was something that Szczerbiak could never have
done. More than I few times, tho, I did not like Ricky's
defense (primarily lack of hustle after turnovers).

I also thought that McCants *finally* made a significant
contribution, basically playing Bobby Jackson even, with
a significant defensive effort -- *plus* a steal or two that
were icing on the cake.

He will get more opportunity, Kg will be sitting out a few games...
