That's been the case for 40 years in cities like Chicago, New York,
it's been that way for 20 years here. Ascension, DeLasalle.
Minneapolis is blessed, and the inner city kids are fortunate to have
these two schools. The are educational Arks, literally. Our family
discovered them, after one of the kids teacher conference at North
High, when the teacher, after being asked why they weren't demanding
more from our child, said, "It's not like this is a good school or
anything." Other than profanity, the only reaction you can have was
the one we did, "Yikes, where can we send our kid and get away from
this." Sorry, this isn't about basketball.
