You will be happy with Jefferson. Gonna be a stud.

Honestly, after the last few "superstar" deals, what the Lakers got for
Shaq looks better and better. It's what they did with those pieces that
looks atrocious (Caron Butler for Kwame Brown). >> Stay informed about: Worst deal ever |

I'm just happy that KG and Szczerbiak will be reunited again.
Those two make such beautiful music together. ;-)

Ya know, I love KG's effort, but it's hard to warm to the results. 1
conference final in 12 years, all those 1st round exits.
Here's an interesting take from a Pacer fan.
http://www.indycornrows.com/story/2007/7/31/6379/07642
We got two first rounders, and Al Jefferson. The rest, other than
Green, seem like Smith/Richard dopplegangers. Minnesota diserves to
be on the other end of a Hershel-izing. Karma can come back around ya
know. >> Stay informed about: Worst deal ever |

Actually, Wally was traded from the Celtic to Seattle as part of the
Ray Allen deal. I think that this is a major reason why KG is not
opposing the trade this time around.

It definitely solves the identity crisis and sets the direction of the
team, building for the future instead of trying to win now with KG.
Indecision on that point really hurt the team during the Iverson trade
talks, when McHale wouldn't give up Foye.
>The next steps for the Wolves should include getting rid of

The stage is set for a change, with a new coach and GM free to do what
they want without it being KG's team. Unfortunately, a new GM's hands
are still tied by all of McHale's lucrative, long-term contracts to
limited players like Madsen, Hudson, and Jaric. Madsen is a useful
role player, Hudson will supposedly be bought out, and a decent coach
might yet get a good performance out of Jaric, so who knows.
Since one major problem was a dearth of big men and we just traded
away a 6'13" superstar, how does the front court look right now? >> Stay informed about: Worst deal ever |

Ah ha! Then it does make sense, I guess.
I think KG is a great player, but it was about time he and the Wolves
parted ways.
The Wolves get some young talent out of the deal and are set to
start a rebuilding process.
The next steps for the Wolves should include getting rid of
McHale and signing a decent coach who is good with developing
young talent, IMO.

It was time for the Wolves and MCHALE to part ways. Garnett should have
had talent surrounding him and the team should be playoff contenders.
Instead McHale hosed this team time and time again, forcing the Wolves
to trade Garnett. McHale's trades and the handling of Joe Smith should
have sealed his ticket out of Minnesota. McHale should be the one on
his way to Boston, not Garnett. As long as McHale is the GM, the Wolves
will be a mediocre team losing fan base and resulting in Taylor to cut
payroll to offset lost income. McHale needs to go NOW!!! >> Stay informed about: Worst deal ever |

Now we can tank the rest of next season or two without thinking twice -
since the Big Ticket is gone.

Sadly, LAST season was the season to tank with Oden and Durant.

Tanking did not work for the Celts and Grizz and Portland and Minny had the same number if ping pong
balls. >> Stay informed about: Worst deal ever |
