Wow is right..larger victories...went to a sports bar to watch. Was fun but
it would be cheaper and not as fattening to change to dish and get the NBA
package...

I fully expect them to not play well tomorrow though. Late night, altitude
and the team that they seem to have their worst matchups against. Seems
like every year they schedule this back to back at hom,e and then @
denver...

I think so. I am going to give it awhile. Games I really want to see I can
go to the sports bar, really nice place at a red lion inn. Did not even know
this town had such a classy watering hole before I sarted calling around
yesterday...

I'm doing a similar thing with the NFL this year. My son, who lives about
an hour away, & a friend, who's only a 5 minute drive, both have the NFL
package, but I've still gone to a local lounge to catch a couple of the
games.

My secret is to order light on the fried snacks & alternate a glass of water
between every couple beers. Keeps the calories down & helps me get home
safely. : )

Go Blazers !

Should only be blacked out if there is an alternate source on cable
like Fox PDX or Fox Northwest if there is such a thing, or if they are
on TNT or ESPN....At least that is how it works down here in the Bay...

They are available on the comcast cable network new sports channel...of
course that is limited to about 20% of portland area veiwers...they are
still negociating to get the channel on other providers and the satilitte
providers. Right now the rest of us are left out in the cold.

You should get every Blazer fan to bang on the front office phone bank
about getting more games on TV...

There's been a lot of negative reaction from fans & the media (Oregonian) on
the Comcast deal, but thus far the Blazers don't seem to care. Whether it's
Allen or someone else with the ultimate decision, IMO they should work
something out while the team is doing better than expected & the fans are
excited. If management figures out a way to piss off a substantial % of
fans at this point, they will have no one but themselves to blame.

Go Blazers !
