Well, Curry is a bit better than I anticipated.
His willingness to sit Amir in favor Kwami Brown was a good move against
LA, and brought about real good results.

Well no Duh! Kwami played in LA and knew them and how to play against
them. Amir hasn't had the luxury of that kind of experience yet. It's
all about matchups and Coach Currey has done a good job so far and I
expect he'll continue to make good choices.

I expect to see Amir back in the starting line-up against the Suns
tonight although reports seem to indicate that Brown might again get
the start. They'll need someone more athletic to go up against Amare
Stoudemire although I don't think there's really anyone in the league
that can shut him down.

The Suns will be without Matt Barnes and former NBA Sixth Man of the
Year Leandro Barbosa. Still they've got a lot on the bench and Porter
certainly knows the Pistons abilities.

As for Shaq, I've seen 3 of the Suns' games this season and so far
Shaq looks more like a boat anchor than a starting center. You still
have to account for him just because of his size, but he's clearly not
the player he was when he was with the Magic and Lakers.

Hell, what short memories they have.

I told you Flip shouldn't have been hired and should be fired. We know
the results which were far too late.

Told you he'd never win an NBA championship, fool never made it to the
finals with the Pistons.

Told you we needed Webber, who was used well during the season and we
went 24 and 4. Then Flip sat him during the playoffs in favor of using
Billups, sheed, prince rip et.c and he failed again.

Told we needed Allen Iverson, and we need to send Billups home to
Denver,,,that's a done deal.

And if Laimbeer was this teams coach he'd have built an East coast
dynasty by now!

And as usual you had your head up your considerable oversized ass. You
have never told us, because you can't, who else that was available in
2005 after Larry Brown had been canned that the Mr. Davidson could
have hired and the Pistons would have at least went to 3 consecutive
EC finals?

Once again you were wrong. Webber folded like a deer in headlights in
the playoffs and never played a good minute of basketball after. He
was toast and benching him when Flip did was the right thing to do for
the team.

That remains to be seen. Denver has a better record with Chauncey
than Detroit does with A.I.

Maybe, maybe not. Sure the Shock are great with Laimbeer as head
coach but coaching the ladies is far different than coaching the men.
You can't correlate Laimbeer/Mahorn's coaching results with a
successful men's campaign. If it were even remotely a possibility, it
would have happened already.

I should have been Laimbeer nor Brown, and we'd have three championships
by now.

But Laimbeer was under contract to the Shock and Mr. Davidson wasn't
going to break one contract to sign another. Besides, like I've said
all along, success in the WNBA doesn't mean you'd have success in the
NBA. As proof, look at the number of WNBA championship coaches who
have had the same success in the NBA.
