Four More Years!

For Theo Ratliff, that is. Or maybe more?

KGW is saying the extension is for three years and kicks in after
this coming season, which would mean he's signed through 2007-08.
ESPN and NBA-TV both called it a five-year extension, but didn't say
whether they were also including the upcoming season in that number.
I thought maybe the "official web site" would have something definite,
but they just call it multi-year and give the usual line about how
they don't release specific terms because of team policy.

Extensions can not be for more than 4 years, so 5 has to include this season
on the old contract.
For the one saying a 3 year extension, there may be a team or player option
on the 4th year so it would show officially as a three year.

CBA rules. We have to rely on leaks.
