Okay, now -- do you think any of those 3 guys could do it by
themselves? >> Stay informed about: D'antoni quits |

You're missing the point. They could, as Manu proved against us this
season, but that's not what I'm getting at. I'm not saying CB4 should be
able to do it himself, although the truly great players can and do. I'm
saying that when the team is slumping, he should be setting an example
to his team by trying to score the right way. He does not do that.

So you mean like 2 seasons ago when Kobe would score 35 points per
game while taking 30 shots. That's what you want Bosh to do. >> Stay informed about: D'antoni quits |

Exactly. Not all the time, certainly, but when the jumpers aren't
falling, do you really want the leader of your team, the guy that
everyone else feeds off, taking more jumpers? Anthony Parker does a much
better job of driving for contact when we're down, but he doesn't get
the ball anywhere near enough.

Why does Bargnani get a free pass? He's the one that should be doing
this, yet you knock Bosh while saying nothing about Bargs.
Trade Bosh, you have just lost the guts of your team. Trade Bargs, you
have just lost.... nothing. >> Stay informed about: D'antoni quits |

Healy will now argue that Bargnani is a first overall pick and
therefore be expected to step forward, ahead of Bosh who was a lowly
#4 pick.
I will then argue that Kobe once did all the things you said you
wanted Bosh to do and the team sucked because it was all about him.
Then he took a step back to allow his teammates to step up themselves,
taking the focus off him and making his teammates better, which then
led the the Lakers winning the Western Conference and making Kobe, for
the first time ever, a candidate for the Most Valuable Player award.
Lansdell then reads this post, and has the realization that Chris Bosh
is doing exactly what he needs to do as the leader of the Toronto
Raptrs. >> Stay informed about: D'antoni quits |

Why should Bargs be doing it? He's not the leader, he's not an all-star,
he's not drawing double teams, and he was always guarded by a guy who
could keep him outside. It's Bosh's JOB to motivate the team and lead by
example on the floor. Not Andrea's.

The guts of our team? How fitting...this team HAS no guts.
