I'm curious who you guys think will be in the championship this year?

I still think the Lakers are going to be tough, but they need Mailman and
possibly Horace healthy. If Ming would play as hard every night as he does
against Shaq, they could be a nice sleeper.

My pick in the West is Sacramento. With Webber, Miller, and Divac on the
frontcourt, they've got plenty of size to suffocate Shaq. With Peja
shooting from the outside and bibby running the point, they have solid
balance. A healthy bobby jackson will help... he's a good clutch player off
the bench.

In the East, Detroit's my pick. I do worry about the Nets, but their lack
of production in the paint will hurt them in my opinion. I think the Pacers
are solid, but I also think they're just pretenders. I think they should
have kept Brad Miller and that may haunt them. We'll see. The Hornets with
Mashburn, Baron D, and especially Magloire are a nice sleeper. They could
be the type of team to pull an upset over someone like the Nets or Pacers,
but they're also the type of team who could lose in the 1st round to the
Bucks.

Finals: Kings vs Pistons, and I'll predict that Adelman wins a
championship.

Houston does not have enough experience I think, but the first round matchup
I would love to see is rockets/lakers and that is not unlikely at 6/3

Adelman will manage to screw up the playoff rotations if history means
anything....
The Championship still goes though LA or SA I think with Minny and Sac
perhaps making the WCF.

Wallace: "No . . . Good game. Both teams played hard."
