wow.

15 mil - wallace 8 mil - gooden -CHI
5 mil - smith 5 mil - marshall -SEA
1.5 mil - simmons - CHI

2 mil - west 12 mil - hughes - CHI
12 mil - szczerbiak 3.5 mil - newble - SEA

34 mil 30 mil

we picked up 4 mil in salary but i'd rather have

(Z V wallace & smith) than (Z V gooden & marshall)

i expect wallace & smith to come in for Z & V, smith to balance the
offense when Z comes out. OR Z & smith at C, with defensive minded PFs
- it worked for jordan in chicago.

ditto for

(gibson west szcerbiak snow pavlovic james) over

(gibson hughes brown pavlovic newble james)

i'm guessing szcerbiak to start at SG with gibson coming in to keep a
sharpshooter on the floor. west & snow - interesting - i'm guessing
snow starts again but may not get the majority of the minutes - i like
west's size at 6'4". i do wonder what'll have to pavlovic's minutes
though.

and now, no one can say ferry can't make something happen.

and the best part was that ferry didn't trade away gibson.

West will be starting before too long, just watch. Ferry's supposedly
been hard for him for awhile, and I agree. He's likely to fill in most
of Hughes' stats if he gets enough minutes. I expected him to break
out with Boston before they dumped him . . .
