I presume the season would start earlier as well, with the first games in mid-
to late October. (Most Division I hockey teams begin their schedules about this
time, so there is a winter sports precedent.)
I wouldn't necessarily rule it out, although that would probably keep the
finals on cable TV (if broadcast TV wouldn't air the women's finals in
primetime in March, what makes anyone think it would be aired in primetime
during February sweeps?).
