Ain't it crazy?

If the Rockets beat the Nuggets tomorrow, we'll be playing for (albeit
awful early) the Division lead on Friday. And if we win that game,
(15-12) we'd have the division lead out-right (15-12 vs 14-12)...and
if Denver loses at Sacramento on Saturday, we'd be a full game in 1st
place by Tuesday.

Think ESPN would've thought that possible on September 14th?

The hell with ESPN, when we got back to .500 at the start of the season &
then lost 9 of 10 or something like that, I thought we were toast for the
rest of the season. I was probably not alone in that thought. Winning 9
straight since then has been a bit on the surreal side, especially the way
they're doing it. Tonight, for instance, Travis can't hit water falling out
of a boat, but makes a couple of big shots when it counts & pulls down the
offensive board to seal it. Jones has an off night, but is money from the
stripe for our last 4 points of the game when the Raps are forced to start
hacking. Martell & Blake are a combined 11-16 from the floor, that 68%.
And Roy looks like he wants Player of the Week 3 times in a row.

I am just sitting back enjoying this, cause it hasn't happened for us for a
long time & this could just be the start of something really good.

Go Blazers !

2 weeks ago someone (Dave's Blog?) was looking at the schedule and thinking
the team might not get a road win until next month..
Looks like Nate did not let the guys buy into that....tough job. Nate for
coach of the year so far.

Roy had the flu...was only about6 70% according to his calculations...

Even if it balances out it sure shows that they are capable.

They did not beat them but they sure worn them down. Melo and Iverson player
over 50 min. Thank you Bonzi...Nuggets should be getting to their hotel in
Portland about 6 or 7 AM.

The Blazers have had nice scheduling during this streak. Most of the back to
backs were the same for the other team, or the blazers rested while they
waited, like tomorrows game. Only once was the reverse true.
