Blazers are playing very well. I think you have to take a long hard
look at the coach here and give credit where it is due. Not to
disparage the talent, because it is very good too. But Nate was
patient with Outlaw, Webster, Jack but saw that Roy was ready last
year to play big minutes. So Nate knows how to evaluate who is ready
and who is not. Same with Aldridge as he was eased into it over time.
One thing about Portland that gets little recognition nationally
(Eastern bias etc) is that you guys have streaks where you are very
solid for about 10 years, then take 2 years down, and then run off
another 10-12 year run of playoffs going back to the Walton years.
Very good management up there. Cheers. It's gonna be scary when
Oden comes back.
