I still can't get over it that my sister's dog jumped out of a second story
window.
The window is way too high for a break-in. That would be the last window
I'd choose to break in to. There's not even any way to climb up that side of
the house without a contractor's ladder. If they had broken in, they'd have
come in through a ground floor window. There's plenty enough of those
around the house (all open) that they could have chosen over a window that
is 30ft up. Wouldn't you think? Plus, if they really had broken in, they
probably would have trashed the place, left some kind of calling card, like
spray paint--- and (most likely of all)--- they would have taken the dog
with them to "save" her from my sister, rather than just toss her out of a
30ft
window and break her leg. I have seen her lunge at that window before
(usually while chasing flies), it really doesn't surprise me that she
eventually finally just went right through it.
