Personally, I consider women's beach volleyball to be a farce, a
mockery. And this is coming from one of the most ardent volleyball fans
you will ever find (what did you do last weekend? I drove two hours to
watch a full day volleyball tournament).

I'd much rather watch men play baseball than beach volleyball. OTOH,
these days I prefer to watch women's indoor volleyball to baseball.

No comparison.

I wonder why in baseball, men that are fat (Babe Ruth) or 40 (Randy,

think of old people being the cream of the crop, Golf would come to
mind, but even Golf doesn't have fat people.

You can never have either too many jiggly chicks or too much baseball.

That's why god invented cheerleaders. Two for the price of one. So to
speak.

(Except MLB won't get with the program.)

Hey...my wife coached my son's elementary school boys' basketball team
this year. It was her first try, and she did quite a good job. :-P

I saw a Beetle Bailey cartoon once. In the first frame Sarge and Beetle
are watching tv. Beetle asks Sarge "Why doesn't baseball have
cheerleaders?"
Sarge thinks for a minute, then says, "I don't know, but it's probably
George Steinbrenner's fault."

I loved that cartoon.

I think it was 1994. That's when I had too much baseball.
