It's early in the playoffs, and a few upsets won't seem like a big
deal if the seedings hold, but . . . I'm already hearing a lot more
about certain teams not "matching up" well against other teams: Team
A may have a much better record than Team B, but they don't "match up"
well against Team B. I've begun to worry about how Detroit "matches
up" against Chicago (not that Detroit had all that much of a better
record overall, but still they would be the favorite, at least on
paper). Maybe Golden State "matches up" well against Dallas -- now
that would be a real shocker.
So, the Bulls beat the Heat, and then take Detroit to 6-7 games before
losing in the second round to the Pistons -- the Bulls will have taken
a step forward and everybody's happy, right? (P.S. Detroit then has
an easier time with Cleveland, and surprises some by beating the
Western Champ).--Joe >> Stay informed about: Playoff Predictions 2005-2006 |

I was surprised at how the Heat imploded in the 4th quarter of the
game on Sunday. With 2 minutes to go and the score still close,
Hinrich picks D'Wade's pocket in the back court and scores an easy
bucket. Game was basically over at that point as the Heat didn't put
up much more resistance.
Well I guess that fat boy, most dominating player in the game, can't
carry his team like he and a certain poster in the group asserted.
Seeing the Bulls sweep Miami gave me great pleasure. Now I just hope
the Pistons can handle the Bulls. They didn't do so well against them
in the regular season (1-3).
