....but they held on down the stretch when it looked like they might fold up
& NVE was HUGE. More than the clutch shots he hit, I was most impressed
with his calming Zach when the Blazers got a defensive rebound & called a TO
near the end of the game. After the whistle blew for the TO, Z-Bo started
heading for the ref to complain about something & Nick grabbed him by the
arm & pulled him away while calmly telling him to let it go & take the win.
Just the kind of leadership this team has been lacking lately.
Nice efforts from SAR & Miles, too. A good opener, IMO.

NVE was gold just being NVE. It was the kind of game they gave away last
year, or flat lost big when Damon and DA were bad.

The added depth to the roster should really help this team down the stretch (if
there are no trades).
Also it was good to see SAR start and I thought Miles goatee was awesome, it
reminded me of the one I used to have when I lived in San Francisco. >> Stay informed about: OK, it's only one game... |

I doubt DAs back and NVE knees will last the season to provide much depth.
Silver linning... I expect Telfair may get to play and develop.

Nope. I had no desire to dull a good pair of shears on that endeavor.... I
think I suggested a sheep castator, one very tight rubber band....
