i think it's a move to save the draft pick from going to the clippers.
the wolves need to get it under #11, i think.

now it's time to stop caring, if only till the end of the season. or
care in reverse.

As much as I hate it, it's the right move. They cannot afford to let
that pick go, not when it's set to be a pretty good one.

But on the other hand ... is there any compelling reason to believe
that next year's pick won't be even jucier?

Right now, I'm feeling about the same as when the Joe
Smith debacle came to light. Inept. Disgustingly inept.
I just hope they don't lose their pick because of these oh
so transparent "injuries" to KG and Davis.

Next year's draft probably will be juicier - if you're at the
bottom of the heap. Should the Wolves cede this pick
now? Why not? If they really tried, they could easily
"outplay" anybody for the most ping pong balls. Just sit
KG down for half a season.

On KARE 11 today they asked the question, "Have we seen the last of KG
in a Wolves uniform?" Unless he really is hurting, I can't see he's
very happy about not playing, especially if he was asked to do so. I
still think it's more likely he'll stay and the Wolves will try a big
desperate offseason deal like bringing back Steph, but I'm less certain
of that now.

Good game tonight: Houston without McGrady and Yao and the Wolves
without KG, Davis AND Mccants (sprained ankle.)
