I'd take O'Neal over Gerald Wallace in a second. Wallace's big
numbers are a product of him being on a really bad team. Why do you
think we've only heard about him over the last 2-3 years, despite him
being in the league for 7 seasons now? Because he's been with
Charlotte over those more recent years.
Wallace is just a guy who racks up the stats because he's on a really,
really bad team. He's a guy who puts up huge numbers when it doesn't
matter, which is most of the time when you talk about the Bobcats.
Put this guy on a good team and he gets lost in the mix. Just ask
Sacramento.
Btw, Jermaine O'Neal has been "injury prone" for the last 2-3
seasons. Gerald Wallace? He's averaged 56 games per season over his
career. The last time he played over 75 games was NEVER. He makes
Vince Carter look like an Ironman.
