I deny it... Watching a great team execute both lock down defense and excellent half court offense
was not boring despite the blowout.
A game decided in a chess match on both sides of the ball from coaches and BBall IQ has meat to
it... I expect better in the next games in the series.
The track meet is fun and more exciting than a half court and defensive game, especially for new or
casual fans, and I loved it too..., but the other style is far from boring for basketball junkies...
and in the long run usually wins when the styles collide....

I am a Blazers fan. I am a NBA fan.
Why am I not surprised the concept of appreciating great defense went right over your head?...
If the Mavs had played the game AJ taught them and tempo control... If AJ had stayed big and made
Nellie do the adjusting...they would not have been sucked into a track meet and likely would still
be playing.....
If the Spurs and Pistons meet in the finals again I will look to a great series... and if it bores
you to tears oh well...

Well, that explains it. You're a Blazers fan. I am just kidding.
Honestly, if it were my team blowing out the other team then I would call it
a great game. However, when it isnt my team.. I want to see both teams
playing with all of their energy (ironically my team refused to put any
energy into the playoffs this year).
I am not saying the basic fundamentals arent exciting. If you tear it down
then you will see it can be. I just love neck and neck games... like last
nights GS Utah game... >> Stay informed about: This is a great game! |

Sure, but that still does not make it boring, not at the playoff intensisty of that game.
And the Bulls were taken out of their game by the pistons, was not lack of effort.
(ironically my team

Not true at all.

Well I also appreciate watching the dressage test as much as the cross country and show jumping in
eventing. Taking a horse trained race horse hot and then asking for perfect calm and elegant
obedience... a perfect canter piaffe gives me goose bumps...;-)

That also is part of the chess match.
Getting veteran players into the post season both well rested and and in peak condition and
maintaining that as long as possible is I feel one of the keys to great playoff coaches. Then
playing as few of games as possible.

Not really.

Yeah, He is still one of my favorite players to watch.

I have been hanging around groups for years where I have no favorite players...
Aldridge may develop into a similar player as 'Sheed...he has the same high release and a good BBall
IQ already and is also unselfish. Last time they played 'Sheed acknowledged that.

Perhaps it was not the Mavs' lack of energy, but the Warriors total
dismantlement of their team that decided the series? >> Stay informed about: This is a great game! |
