I have some optimism that McCants second year will be a good one. I
think Fred Hoiberg will pass on the legacy of Mullins practice regimen,
and McCants will develop into a long bomber.
The kid did demonstrate that he has a nice stroke from beyond the arc,
and his step to the hoop will keep defenders honest.

Also, one would hope that Davis wants to win enough that he will step
up and play defense in the next year.

My prime interest is what happens with Banks as the point guard. I
don't think drafting Williams or any PG in the draft can help next
year. But I'm not sure Banks decision making is up to changing what
happened last year.

As you know, I'm not a McCants admirer.
But hope springs eternal every off-season.

And the leopard changes his spots, too?

The first decision Banks has to make is which
team he wants to play for (and for how much).

I think we should hope most for improvements by
Blount and Griffin.

Blount, now there is a leopard for you. Eddie should have his eyes
fixed, but that doesn't mean he should shoot 3's, I still think a shock
collar would be appropriate there.
