Post subject: lauren jackson on the cover of Australian basketball mag 'handle'
Archived from groups: rec>sport>basketball>women (more info?)

Hi from Australia,

Just thought I'd get word out that a new basketball magazine in
Australia, 'handle', features Lauren Jackson on the cover of its issue
out Jan 3 in Australia. Inside the mag there's heaps of exclusive
photography plus an in-depth interview with Lauren.

We currently don't have a fully functioning website (launching in
April, fingers crossed), but if anyone's interested in buying a copy of
the magazine in Australia, you'll be able to find it in most newsagents
from Jan 3, and if you're overseas then you could shoot off an email to
dina.RemoveThis@handlemag.com.au and she'll be able to let you know how to get a
copy.

All the best,

Women are too fat to play basketball - For playing basketball, you have to be 7" and thin. Women are only 5" and fat, so they could only be used as ball, but not to play the game.

the size of the women's basketball - could someone tell me why even on the college level why the size of women's basketball is still smaller than the size of men's? u would think that on this level women would have hands large enough to be able to handle a regulation size basketball.
