my friend and I were talking about the local hacks this evening. They're
completely shredding qyntel woods for his recent incident of being in a car
with a guy driving under the influence. saying woods was probably high
too, but he wasn't tested b/c he wasn't driving and cops don't care about
passengers. when one guy said it's all to do about nothing, the host of
this radio show tore into him, saying it is a big deal and doing all he
could to make it sound as bad as possible for woods and the blazers.
I swear, if it's not one thing, it's another. Did anyone see any positive
reports when sheed parted town except those that talked about what a relief
it was to see him go? The oregonian called and asked permission to print my
letter, but never did. I never saw any "farewell" stories, no "thank you
for the past 8 years", nothing. nothing positive was said about sheed and
his contributions during his tenure.
it's really sad. like laurel says, it's time for paul allen to buy the
oregonian. it won't stop there tho. everyone on the radio is dissing us
all the time.
