We continue to display no understanding of defensive rotations and gifted
the Hawks a wide open death-blow 3. But we did add a new wrinkle to the
closing offense. Let Granger handle the ball while the other 4 players stand
and watch. It came out of the old JO playbook. Even if Granger wanted to
pass instead of taking the last 3 Pacers shots of the game(all being
contested) nobody was doing anything to get open. I can't tell if this is
concrete gym shoes or O'Brien's play calling, but either way it falls on the
coaching staff to fix it or be replaced.

Unfortunately I was out and missed this game. If TJ was still out,
then I can understand Granger handling things in the end. TJ's the
play maker. Granger does well to get his own shot, but when that is
just down he is a babe in the woods.

I just don't understand these defensive lapses. Time for new
defensive coach?
