....but I'm still very happy with the way our guys played tonight. This
could be a better season than many expect.

Go Blazers !

Except for Roy and we know that will improve.

Yeah, if Brandon had been a bit more on it might have been a nail biter.
Still, I'm stoked with the way that LA played Dunky & the rest of the team
looks better than I had hoped. Not a win, but not a bad start to the season
either.

Go Blazers !

portland played pretty well, especially the starting frontcourt. LMA
and Martell looked like a great forward combo (although 6 rebounds
between them was unimpressive even considering the way SA's forwards
hug the 3pt line)

And Joel looked pretty good...like a couple of years ago.

Brandon's play showed that nate's notion he didn't need any playing
time in the preseason was incorrect. Roy was awful rusty. Although
bowen bumping, grinding, and routing him into duncan had something to
do with it.

The PG's were fairly atocious however. Blake played ok, but had his
bad moments, Sergio had a good pass and a couple of bad ones, and was
beat on defense. Jack was terrible and looked confused till the 4th
quarter...then he was just weak.

Frye sucked too. I would like to see more of James Jones though.

And outlaw continued in his 'never met a shot he didn't like streak.

Well he is the offense off the bench... as for the rest I agree with all of
it. Was very nice to see Martell maintain his confidence when it counted...

Kobe must be feeling guilty again;
he just bought Jim Gray a diamond.
