Fewer of these because I'm not watching the games they way I used to.
I will say I have been happy with the play of McCants the past few
games. He might not be a bust after all. I've also been impressed
with Reed. He's a keeper.

The Good:
Everything about KG's game aside from his scoring. He obviously cannot
handle double teams like many of the elite scorers can.

Banks: He's still a step slow defensively, but his offensive game has
been sparkling.

Jaric: 4 assists in 11 minutes

The Bad:
Blount: I know he had 18 points, but it doesn't matter when his defense
is so horrible against Yao and company.

Davis: He's been a big disappointment. Not only does he play horrible
D, it takes him too many shots to get his points.

McCants: 1-7, 5 points and 5 fouls.

CASEY: not playing EG against Yao. EG and Jaric need more minutes. So
does Reed.

Right now, Casey should be starting:

PG- Banks
SG - Jaric
SF - Davis
PF - Garnett
C - Griffin

Hassell can come off the bench to split minutes with Jaric/Davis as
needed.

Jaric deserves more playing time. Sitting him only hurts his
productivity in the long run, IMO.

Griffin is a better defender than Blount, and Blount can come off the
bench to provide some offense as needed.

All in all, that wasn't a horrible game last night...but the Wolves
should have won it. It was because of Blount's lack of defense
in the paint that they lost, IMO. Yao and Swift had Blount for dinner
last night. His offense did not make up for his complete lack of
defense, IMO.

I like the lineup, although I like the one I previosly proposed a bit
better. I'd start Hassell and bring Davis off the bench. Bring in
Davis, McCants, Blount when scoring is needed. I'd use Madsen more
than Blount, and Reed would get at least 20 minutes per game. I also
would use Jaric at point when matchups dictate (when he doesn't have to
guard a quick PG), instead of bringing in Carter to replace Banks.
