Anyway, Bennett will get tired of all the legal battles and court
costs over the next 2 years and he will sell the team to local
ownership headed by some people formerly with the Shultz ownership.
Bennett, in turn, will purchase the New Orleans Hornets from Shin who
is being run out of town. The new Sonics owners will work out an
arena deal with the Muckleshoots, or may accept that final offer that
was offered to Shultz but turned down for the Key Arena upgrades. In
the meantime we all get to watch Kevin Durant evolve into a superstar
and watch Sam Presto work his magic on this team building it into a
western conference powerhouse!
