I'll watch the draft Thursday but I don't really care whom the Bulls
pick. They're not trading the pick, and they haven't worked out Mayo
to the best of my knowledge, so it's either Rose or Beasley, the
consensus top best players in the draft. I hope they pick Rose because
we need Deron Williams more than we need Glenn Robinson (high scoring
tweener forward? check) but whatever.

What concerns me more are the trades Paxson must make to thin and
balance and improve the roster. I imagine it's smart to wait until
after the draft, to minimize uncertainty. And I suppose Deng's and
Gordon's contract status still have to play out, and can't/won't until
later in July.

But if Paxon does not show a strong hand in remaking what is obviously
fatally flawed roster, I will consider donning Granville's London Fog
and urinating on Paxson's leg.

PS: Little Jon and Frank, I just dropped my daughter off for a week-
long sleepaway camp in Pescadero. The place is called Skylark Ranch.
Horses and the beach are involved. Any chance your kids are there too?

Robinson was a beast at Purdue. I liked Kidd best in that draft
though and said so at the time. Of course I'm a homer.
