There are rumblings that Miami might trade the #2 pick.

Probably just posturing.

Still, would it be worth it to send Hinrich plus Thomas there for the
pick?

Pinning the franchise's hopes on two rookies has shades of the Curry-
Chandler debacle, but still, we would get the consensus two best
players in the draft, guys who proved themselves in their one year of
college ball (do you realize Beasley's numbers were better than
Durants?!). Plus, we keep our core of quality complementary players
intact -- Noah, Gooden, Nocioni, and Deng.

Then we can look to trade Gordon plus another complementary player for
a legit 3 guard, or hang onto him and let him and the untradeable
Hughes to backup Rose and Sefolosha.

I think Miami would go for this trade. Riley wants to win sooner
rather than later. He's rumored to be a long time Hinrich fan. Thomas,
I'm sure, has value around the league. Riley could argue he's getting
a near Olympian starting PG and highly drafted SF out of the deal,
players with reasonable contracts.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah why don't you just ask Riley if he
wants you to use vaseline or sand when you pound him in the ass. It's
the same thing.

The media is also reporting Marbury for Baron Davis.

Why is Wade bolting in 2 years? Who says?

Your last sentence sums up the entirety of the folly. They need a PG
and they have the #2 pick. If Rose is gone, then maybe they deal.

I just had a mental image of you stumbling around like Redd Foxx,
clutching his chest, swearing "this is the big one!"

Like Lebron, he only re-upped for four years after his rookie deal
expired. Miami's going south. Unless they turn it around, he'll jump
to one of the big market teams offering big money and a chance to win.
Not saying it'll be Chicago. Just saying.

That's a tempting offer. Can your plumber put in a webcam so you can
remotely access "buttcrack cam" from Minneapolis?
