fixed it for you.
____________
Well, I wasn't being held against my will, but there was definitely a
feeling of escape when I left Cali in the rear view.
It's kind of telling that of my dozen or so closest friends who were there
when I left, only a couple are there now. The first few years after I moved
up here, I really looked forward to going back down for a visit, to ride
some of the old mountain biking trails & catch a Padres or Chargers game,
but I haven't been back for several years now & don't miss it much at all.
Not that I'm dissing the area or those who still live there, everyone has
their own likes & dislikes, it's just that for me, the negatives overwhelmed
the positives & made the decision easy.
Go Blazers !
