This trade was not for another outside shooter. The GM knows the Sixers
need to be very flexible to lure a free agent or two. If Giricek doesn't
play another minute, it won't matter. This was done for the express
purpose of off-season maneuvering. I remember reading somewhere that the
two most important things in the NBA were the Rookie caps and expiring
contracts.
