Webber is signing with the Pistons and will start at center.
That leaves out of the lineup Nazr Mohammad. Dale Davis has started over him last few games.
I do not have a link but heard a rumor that Detroit has talked trade with Minny of Nazr Mohammad
for Jaric.

For better or worse, we`re drooling over the

Yep. I read that in the Strib yesterday, that the Wolves were
working out a trade with Jaric to the Pistons for one of the
Pistons three big men.

I see no down side to that trade for the Wolves at this point.

Ah Yes. One of the big men. That would be nice.
I watched the highlights of the Wolves win over Detroit. They showed five
highlight baskets. ALL FIVE were18-24ft jump shots. And, how often do you
use 'Blount' & 'three pointer' in the same sentence.
Think of all the big men (and little men) the Wolves have had and
'discarded'. KG is the Wolves "old man" with 9(?) years. They've gone thru
alot of players. Alot of GOOD players.
Why don't they stay more than two years?
Two years from now it will probably be KG and five new guys.
Would be nice to have one cohesive team (with a big guy) for a few years.

I wonder if this is for real? Nazr can play, in my opinion... especially
on defense. I'm beginning to wonder if Joe Dumars is going a little soft in
the head, seems like a lot of his moves have come back to bite him in the
last few years after seemingly doing no wrong in the 03-04 season. Darko
stiffs his way out of town, Big Ben leaves and takes the heart of the team
with him, they let valuable guys like Mo Evans walk away for little $$ and
bring in (and fail to use properly) other role players like Mohammed...

His contract is 2 or 3 years longer than jaric's and he is likely to cause a stink with Webber
coming in..

I would say he was right not to give into the max contract demand at Ben's age. Down the road a few
years I doubt anyone would have been praising him if he had.

He may be the "got my contract" and died type. He being played out of minutes by dale davis, I can
not believe all of that was Flip's fault.

There is *something* going on in Nazr's head. The
big question is would he be happy playing reserve
to Blount. With the way Blount has been playing,
lately, even *I* wouldn't pull him for anyone short of
an All-Star center. Mohammed simply ain't one.

There was something going on with Nazr's head at the start of last
season, too. He eventually came around. To the best of my knowledge he's
never put together a full, solid season, from start to finish: for
whatever reason (bad work habits in the summer, lack of focus, etc.),
that's just how he is.
