Hello Knicks fans,
I'm writing from Italy, and I wanted to ask You all why 'Nilo has been
immediately named "Italian Stallion"...
Hope it's not 'cause of Sylverster Stallone...
BTW, don't mess with 'Nilo...
He's a great guy AND a good ball player, taken he's only 19 and has been
playing in REALLY REALLY bad teams so far.
Comparisons with Frederic Weiss make me LOL, don't even compare him to
Bargnani, this one has MUCH MUCH more "huevos"...
Only problem he's been playing for Milan which is a archi-rival of my fave
team in Italy...
Ciao

Haven't seen him yet. Most of us are interested in defense here, so
adding another defensively challenged scorer to a roster littered with
such players wasn't really at the top of our wish lists.

People like to sell newspapers.

Coz all italian teams are, aint no money for bball here anymore... Also last
year he was not getting much touches because of his american mates not being
that nice to him (envious???)

saying PO and NYK in the same sentence, sorry :) )

Honestly?
I call him that because I can't remember how to spell his name.
I like Nilo though the more I read about him. It seems his D was the way it
is because he was told to concentrate on O and he was a better defender the
season before where he showed the ability to stay in front of most Euro
players. Not sure what that will mean in the NBA, especially if he plays SF. >> Stay informed about: Why is he a stallion? |

That's really gross... I thought it was only a European problem (hooligans)
related to MINOR sports (soccer)...
Back in 95 I attended Game #5 of the Texas shootout (HOU@SAS) that was the
conference finals and I had people from Houston AND SA around me and
everyone was chanting for HIS/HER team, note that Houston won easily
wire-to-wire and nothing happened... (Lotsa police everywhere, tho, even in
restrooms)
Had someone telling me "not so kind" words in Santa Monica while i was
wearing a Spurs Cap (didn't remember they were swept by the texans...)

Not a defender, but has never been asked to... Moderate shot blocker but at
much lower levels than the NBA, people is flying higher there...
>Is that why you were rooting for Spain last week?
Spain? You mean Gasol's team?
Oh you mean SOCCER (MINOR sport...), I'd rather attend a Hanson concert than
a soccer match...
