Baskeball's back! Here's the boxscore to today's first preseason game
against the Bucks.
http://www.nba.com/games/20061011/MILMIN/boxscore.html?nav=scoreboardhome

Didn't see the game, but . . .

Seems encouraging that Griffin had 10 rebounds, Smith put up numbers
that might justify what the Wolves have said about him, Jaric put up
decent numbers in his new role, Blount had *8* rebounds, James scored 9
points on 4 shots with 4 assists in 23 minutes.

I was disappointed that Davis is starting (I'd like to see a James/Foye
starting backcourt), James had 4 turnovers, Griffin was 1-5, and Foye
didn't get more minutes.

Can't wait to see the Wolves for the first time on TV . . .

The 8 rebounds by Blount was encouraging, and him getting thrown out
was even encouraging in a odd way.

The new radio team sounded pretty good. Although the new voice fell
into the same witty banter, competition with McKinney that Chad was
into, which makes me worry. That got incredibably odd and tired last
year. Bring back Trent Tucker please. It took me some time to figure
out it. I'm happy though its on FM 106, now I can treadmill, and listen
to the game, AM got blotted out by the infernal hamsterwheel's
electronics.

The Wolves get the win..... but sadly they're already mathematically
eliminated from the playoff picture. Gonna be a long year kids.
