Larry stood by Artest throughout this who ordeal, which I'm sure was hard to
do. He said that he felt betrayed, and it looks to me like he was. Artest
has no loyalty and Larry in a very principled person. He and Walsh said
they would set him all year if need be, but they would not let him play.
I understand how they feel, but I still don't think you cut off your nose to
spite your face.
Just a bad situation all the way around. They should have bit the bullet
and showcased his talents for awhile in hopes of landing a good player for
him IMO.
