Looks like only us three. Nobody ever responded to my posts. Any way, I
have come to the conclusion that Adelman may not make it through this
season. All of the Kings problems are because of him.

On another note, what about all this "The Kings are moving unless the
citizens of Sac cough up for a new arena" talk in the Bee recently? I don't
like this at all. When the question is asked why the Kings need a new
arena, they say because they need high dollar box seating and lounges and
restaraunts. I don't see why they can't remodle the existing building for
these things. It looks more like a simple grab for public money.

While I agree Adelman may not make it thru the season, esp if the Kings
continue this way. Or not get a contract if the Kings again go out the
first round. Not all the Kings problems are because of him.

No kidding. I don't know if you listen to KHTK. The two after sport
talk jocks are browbeating the listeners about this arena thing. They
keep saying that Sac is nothing without the Kings and the citizens have
a "Yugo" mentality. They are more disrespectful of the city than Phil
and Shaq ever was.

If they toss Adelman, it's two years too late in my opinion. The window has
closed for title runs...it's time for this team to rebuild with a new coach.

I think the point is, the Maloofs can get this from other communities.
Whether Sacramento likes it or not, the are in competition for the Kings.
We may think it's a grab for public money, but it's pretty smart business
for the Kings ownership. And if we were in their shoes, we would be doing
the same thing.

And just wait...if this Kings team wins 35 - 40 games this season,
attendance is going to take a dive, then the Kings relocation talk will
really heat up.

Lakers seem to be way ahead, though, in terms of rebuilding. Kings seem to
think they can compete with the team they've had the last couple years. No
way Jose. They need to dump Adelman and start rebuilding or they will turn
into the Boston Celtics.
