They're going to sit down with Rasheed for an in-depth interview within the
next 20 minutes. It's 4:37 by my clock.

interview. We've pretty much heard all this before. nothing new to report,
but here's the jist of it....

Laurel told me this loud-mouth's name (who conducted the interview), but I
forgot: do you think it's fair that the blazers have the rep they have?

Wallace: no, not really. I'm not saying every guy on our team is an angel
or the devil, but. He thinks we get a bad rap.

What's important to Wallace is that "(as long as) my wife, kids, friends,
and mom all know the type of person I am, I'm fine".

Q: latest incident about stern. dumbass niggers. can you explain what
you meant?

A: I was not attacking stern. it wasn't nothing personal. it just came
out.

Q: you're saying the nba wants these younger players b/c they're ignorant
to the business aspect of it. the nba wants an age limit... he rambled
about whatever to hear himself talk.

A: it's something I felt and others in the league feel it but don't say it.
now I said it and everyone's in an uproar and I gotta deal with it. if I'd
known it'd got this heavy and blown up, I wouldn't have said it.

Also noted: Wallace wanted to apologize for any implied racial tones.
Wallace would love to stay in portland if he's going to get 10-15 mill, but
detroit, memphis, houston, ny and many others are interested if portland
isn't willing to pay.

a Mavs/blazers game
