I didn't, and I haven't seen a single posting about it.

Pretty damned funny, actually. :-)

I didn't even know it was happening till I saw it on the news (not
that I would have tuned in).

Same here. I had to look up the final score on Yahoo, 36 hours after
the game.

Interleague play killed it for me, I think the last one I watched was from
behind the first base dugout ('95).

Are we talking baseball?

It was an excellent game... I don't usually care much about the ASG and was
out that night but got back in time to catch the 9th inning. I wanted to
see how the Twins players did and 2 of 3 of them had already played and were
replaced. Justin Morneau was in though and because of the extra innngs is
turns out got 4 PAs and I think played in the field about 8 innings, almost
unheard of for an ASG in this era.

The funny part was all the missed scoring opps by the AL that would have won
the game in a walk-off! They had THREE putouts at home, any one of them
would have scored, game over!

Of course, it doesn't help that the umps weren't bothering to watch to see
if players were actually tagged out before hitting the base... they seemed
to be content to ring runners up if the play was just close - they were
wrong twice.

Oh well, the good guys won in the end. NL hasn't won an ASG in 13 years.
AL >>> NL.

The Josh Hamilton show was phenomenal...can you imagine someone swinging
a wooden bat and hitting 28 homeruns in the first round of the home run
derby with a combined average of 445 feet per homer off a 71 year old
dude...that's superhuman stuff...
