Archived from groups: alt>sports>basketball>nba>det-pistons (more info?)

You have Dave Cowens an NBA champion with mulitple years coaching
experience as an assistant for Curry who's got neither?

You have Laimbeer, who has multiple rings as coach and player, who's an
obvious motivator, coaching with success, Bill Davidson's ladies team
instead of his mens club?

Curry couldn't even figure out a way to defend Jalen Rose one on one and
you expect him to figure out how to get Pistons D back in the Palace?

You've got the horses in place. Iverson, Rip, Prince, McDyss, etc...
the roster is the best in the East despite not having a legit "big", but
you have no orchestra leader and they do acount for something or they
wouldn't get paid so much. How did YOU a man such experience drop the
ball in hiring Michael Curry?
Odd as it may sound this team is built for the offensive genius of Flip
Saunders. The man's not doing anything at least bring Flip back as an
assistant to get the point production up. Tha'ts something I promise
Curry does not have the abiltity to do, he couldn't score as player
himself!

To be born empty and leave empty will insure but one thing. That man
will have to be born again.
